His horrible genius plan is provided by a unique philosophy. He is sure that all bad filmmakers actually are the murderers. He has a calculation of how many bad movies are made and how much time people have wasted on the crap movie that equals thousands of lives taken from the audience. His core idea is to kill bad filmmakers victimizing them, which should help them to go to heaven instead of hell. So it's a huge favor and self-sacrifice. He is very proud of himself because by doing that, he actually achieves his professional dream - to light up the souls of his actors, but not the bodies. The gaffer makes his own movie out of the bad movie. His movie 'The Rembrandt Triangle' gets three Academy Award for Best Make-Up, Special Effects and Best Actress. He has to take the awards, because nobody is alive... except the lead actress.
